I know that an RJ45 has a 100 meter limitation for standard cabling, longer than that it could lead to signal loss.
In terms of an RJ11 is there any length limitation. Usually the setup for an ISDN line is like
phone (outlet) -> rj11 -> modem/router -> rj45 -> Unit.
Is there a length limitation also for rj11 that may lead to interruption or loss of signal?

Hi. I use a 2mb adsl connection but I am relatively far away from the dslam center resulting in a noisy line that causes frequent disconnections. Technically called *out of syncs*! There is no problem with router, NID or splitter(because its an isdn line) but my SN margin is only 6db downloading and 8db uploading. I verify this by linking to my router’s mini-server, via internet explorer. My line attentuation is about 35dbs.
I have tried interleaved mode but its still not perfect and disconnects almost as frequently.
After doing hours of research by dial-up, I found out the only way to improve my stability is to lower my broadband speed to 528kb/s or install an amplifier somewhere between my house and dslam.
Are any of these options possible?
Thanks for any help………

Does anyone have any idea where I can go to have someone design a radio studio. Anyone know a website that I could go to find someone? Anyone know someone in Ohio? This is just to set up the ISDN line, the mixers, computer, and microphones. Just a one room studio, that will be used to broadcast to a home base. Thanks everyone!!!

DSL stand for Digital Subscriber Line. Uses higher bandwidth than voice bandwidth over POTS. I am confused about the "D" ,digital, on the "DSL" modem . Is it same as 56K internal modem coverting A/D and D/A . Or it is Digital (WAN side ) to Digital ( LAN side ) like ISDN ??
